Worried about colonoscopy?
Colosafe® can help determine if you really need one.

Colosafe® is an advanced DNA test you can do at home to screen for bowel cancer - privately, conveniently, and without a hospital visit.
Used by over 1 million people worldwide.
Colosafe® has been proven in international studies to find more cases of cancer early compared to standard stool tests, while giving fewer false alarms.
How Does Colosafe® Work?
The Science Made Simple
Every day, cells from your colon naturally shed into your stool - this is completely normal. When cancer or polyps develop, these abnormal cells carry specific genetic changes that healthy cells don't have.
Colosafe® looks for one particular change: a genetic marker called SDC2 methylation.
What is methylation? Think of it as a molecular "on/off switch" that controls whether genes work properly. It's a normal process in your body, but in cancer cells, the SDC2 gene becomes abnormally methylated - switched off when it should be working.
Here's what makes this powerful: while tiny amounts of SDC2 methylation occur naturally in healthy cells, cancer cells show dramatically elevated levels. This stark difference makes detection possible.
We are building a network of clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare providers across Ireland where you can order a Colosafe test. In the meantime, speak with your GP or specialist about Colosafe — they can order test kits directly.
